A furnished bed
You walk in with a bag. Everything else is already there, including a bed and a chest of drawers of your own. Every room is shared, and that trade is how people here get ahead instead of just getting by.
Utilities included
Power, water and gas are already on and already included in the monthly rent. There is nothing to set up and nothing to transfer into your name.
One gig WiFi and a 55 inch TV
Every house has one gig WiFi and a 55 inch 4K television in the common area for residents to use.

Each property has an on site laundry room with a washer and a dryer that residents use without paying extra for it.

Questions People Ask Before Renting A Bed At Wellness Housing
Does Wellness Housing have private rooms?
No. Every room is shared and every bed is rented to one adult. There are no private rooms, no apartments and no separate units.
How much does a bed cost each month?
The choice is a bunk bed or a single bed in a shared room. Utilities are included. The monthly rate for each is published on the pricing page.
Is a credit check or a security deposit required?
No. There is no credit check and no security deposit, and there is no lease to sign.
Does Wellness Housing provide mental health or medical services?
No. Wellness Housing provides shared transitional housing and nothing clinical. There are no mental health services and no medical treatment on any property.
Can I drink alcohol or use drugs on the property?
No. The houses are substance free. Alcohol, marijuana and drug use are not permitted, and coming back to a house under the influence is not permitted either. There is a dedicated smoking area for nicotine users.
Does Wellness Housing accept General Relief or other rent assistance?
Yes. Wellness Housing accepts General Relief through Los Angeles County DPSS, the DPSS Pilot Program, the START Program and other third party rent assistance. When DPSS pays for a bed, the resident does not pay the difference.
